Carlos Augusto and Marko Arnautovic are reportedly back to full training ahead of Friday’s Serie A clash between Inter Milan and Parma.
According to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, the two senior first-team stars will be at Simone Inzaghi’s disposal for the upcoming game.
Inter couldn’t count on Carlos Augusto for last Sunday’s trip to Florence.
However, the Brazilian wingback has regained full fitness.
Meanwhile, Arnautovic skipped yesterday’s training session for family reasons.
Like Augusto, he’ll be ready for Inter’s must-win home game against the top-flight newcomers.
Augusto only recently recovered from a month-long muscle injury.
Therefore, Inzaghi awaited new test results with bated breath.
Now that he’s ready, the 25-year-old could dislodge Federico Dimarco from the starting XI.
Indeed, the Italian star desperately needs some rest.
As for Arnautovic, he’ll likely remain Inzaghi’s fourth choice in the front third.
On the other hand, Benjamin Pavard remains unavailable for selection due to a thigh problem.
But Francesco Acerbi is on the verge of returning to action after missing the last two league matches.
The veteran defender picked up a minor muscle issue in a 5-0 rout of Hellas Verona a fortnight ago.
