21-year-old from Mali signs deal to 2028

FC Red Bull Salzburg have extended Mamady Diambou's playing agreement. The 21-year-old midfielder from Mali has signed a new contract with our Red Bulls running until 30 June 2028.

Mamady Diambou joined us in Salzburg from his home country in 2021 and began as a co-operation player for FC Liefering (making 32 appearances with three goals and two assists). From January 2023, the defensive enforcer spent a half year on loan to Lucerne in Switzerland - for whom he made 14 appearances.

Mamady is an incredibly exciting player, who is developing very well and has a huge amount of potential. We are sure he will make the most of his opportunity here, which is why we have extended his contract. His development with us is far from over.

I am very pleased about extending the contract, and the faith that FC Red Bull Salzburg have placed in me. My first years here have been very exciting, and I have learned so much already. I would like to continue along this path and help the club to more successes and titles by performing as well as I can. I will give everything for that.
