After a successful stint on loan last season, Bradford City are looking to resign Tyreik Wright on loan once again from Plymouth Argyle, as per Alan Nixon via his Patreon page.

The 22-year-old has featured for the Yorkshire club 32 times across two separate spells, and this move may provide him with the chance to add to that.

An Aston Villa academy graduate, his 2023 move to Argyle for an undisclosed fee has not yet materialised into any real minutes on the pitch.

If he decides to stay at Home Park, he may struggle to earn any opportunities under Wayne Rooney, so another loan move may be the correct step for both parties.

As reported by Alan Nixon, it is believed that aside from Bradford, several other unnamed teams are interested in securing the services of Wright.

However, whilst the Bantams will face competition, it is believed that Wright's trust in Graham Alexander would see him favour a move back to Valley Parade rather than to a different side.

This development comes after the Telegraph and Argus reported late last month that Bradford's manager would do everything in his power to get Wright and fellow loanee Dan Oyegoke to resign.

For the winger and Plymouth, this feels like a good move for next season. The loans he has had so far in his career have seen him make no more than 18 appearances at one time for a club, so a full campaign could see his development skyrocket and Bradford will be desperate to aid him in reaching his potential.

Tyreik Wright could be the next piece of the jigsaw for Bradford City

This summer has already been a busy one for Bradford City and Graham Alexander has recruited some really astute additions to a side that will surely be pushing for promotion.

Signing Antoni Sarcevic and Neill Byrne from Stockport County alongside Callum Johnson from Mansfield Town showcase their statement of intent. All three of these players were able to secure promotion from League Two last season and will bring vast experience to a side that are facing their sixth season in the fourth tier.

Adding Notts County's Aden Baldwin will only further their promotion credentials and, if able to re-attract Wright, they could have a real command over those top three positions.

Whilst still only 22, the winger - who at times featured as a wing-back last season under Alexander - is approaching 100 appearances in the division. This experience mixed with his potential could prove pivotal and, based on his underlying statistics, it is no surprise Alexander wants to see what he can bring across 46 games.

Despite the small sample size from last year, his per-90 statistics point to a large increase in his contributions to the team. Creating an average of two chances per game, those numbers point towards a top-quality player, and whether it is at wing-back or further up the pitch, Wright can really be an asset at League Two level.
