Allan Saint-Maximin is on the move yet again.
Set to play for a fourth club in four different countries in the space of just over two years.
Allan Saint-Maximin ended his playing days at Newcastle United in summer 2023 after four years at St James’ Park, signing for Al Ahli in Saudi Arabia for £23m.
Playing there for the 2023/24 season, ASM then went on loan to Turkey for the 2024/25 campaign, playing for Fenerbahce.
Now Allan Saint-Maximin is on the move yet again, having headed to Mexico in a £9m deal to play for Club America.
The former United winger was met at Mexico City International Airport by hundreds of fans and he declared, “Happy to be in Mexico, thank you to the fans for this welcome.”
In total, this makes it nine clubs (so far…) for Allan Saint-Maximin in six different countries.
Having played in France for Saint-Etienne, Monaco, Bastia and Nice. In Germany for Hannover 96, England with Newcastle United, Saudi Arabia at Al Ahli, in Turkey with Fenerbahce, now Mexico with Club America.
Good luck to ASM as he gave us some much needed entertainment in the dark days of Mike Ashley and Steve Bruce.
