After 15 years, the TV show King of the hill made a return last week.

Why am I telling you this?

King of the hill is an adult cartoon that takes satirical take of Texans. Hank Hill, the show’s protagonist, is a hard working Texan who is left baffled by change.

In previous seasons he has shown disdain toward football, or soccer, as the Americans call it.

However, in the latest season it is revealed that he went over to work in Saudi Arabia for none other than Aramco, selling propane and propane accessories of course.

Over the course of the season we find out that Hank ends up watching and falling in love with football.

Now, with the links our club has to Saudi Arabia, and Hank’s links and new found love, alongside the fact that in recent weeks our fans have had too much doom and gloom going on…

I thought it would be nice to have some jovial fun and lay claim to Hank’s football allegiances by saying that he is a Newcastle United fan.

Having made its debut at the pre-season friendly against Atletico Madrid, from now on (donated to Wor flags) be on the look out for a flag depicting Hank in his NUFC shirt.

As Hank would say, Howay the lads I tell you what.
