With his side a man down and staring down the barrel of a 2-2 away to Monaco, a result that would all but end OL's hopes of claiming the title, Rayan Cherki came off the bench to score his first-ever Ligue 1 Uber Eats goal - and become the youngest goal scorer of the 2020-21 Ligue 1 Uber Eats season at the age of just 17 and 258 days!

The OL youth academy graduate has made 24 appearances for 540 minutes of play in total in the current campaign. He made his debut in October 2019, playing seven minutes against Dijon aged 16 years and 63 days old, and - also against DFCO - played his first minutes of the current season aged 17 years and 11 days old. Two other OL players also appear high on the list: Malo Gusto (fifth-youngest) and Florent Da Silva (eighth).

At 16 years and 224 days, Mohamed-Ali Cho is the youngest player to have played in Ligue 1 Uber Eats this season, turning out for Angers SCO against Bordeaux on 30 August. The talented winger, who turned 17 on 19 January this year, has made18 Ligue 1 Uber Eats appearances this season, clocking up 297 minutes. Ugochukwu in the top three In Round 35, renowned youth development club Stade Rennais unveiled two new starlets: Lesley Ugochukwu and Matthias Abline, who both came on for one minute against Dijon. The first of the two, a central midfielder who replaced Nzonzi, became the third-youngest player to play this season, aged 17 years and 30 days. Next on the list is ASSE midfielder Lucas Gourna, who turned pro last summer before played his first minutes against Strasbourg at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard on 12 September. He then made his first start in  November - in the derby against OL! Paris Saint-Germain's Xavi Simons is one of the latest players to make an appearance in the top 20. By coming off the bench against Strasbourg in Round 32, he made his Ligue 1 Uber Eats debut at 17 years and 354 days. He is now tenth in the rankings, just ahead of teammate Edouard Michut. With four players (Simons, Michut, Ruiz and Pembélé), PSG is the most represented club in this top 20, along with ASSE (Gourna, Aouchiche, Sow and Rivera), while OL and Rennes each have three of the 20 youngest players (Cherki, Gusto and Da Silva; Ugochukwu, Camavinga and Abline). Wahi, another young top scorer After making his top-flight debut in mid-December, a fortnight before his 18th birthday, striker Elye Wahi scored in his second appearance - after just 14 minutes of playing time in total! And this at 18 years and 13 days old. This makes the Montpellier native the third-youngest striker of the 2020-21 season.
