Roma and Napoli are set to return to the popular EA FC game series for its 2025 edition, but Milan and Inter will not feature in the latest version.

Atalanta and Lazio are also will also not be in the newest EA FC game.

Why Milan and Inter are not in new EA FC game

That is because those four clubs have signed exclusive rights agreements with Japanese entertainment multinational Konami, meaning their club branding will appear solely on the eFootball games, and not on EA FC.

The players of Milan, Inter, Lazio and Atalanta will still feature on the EA game, as player licensing is run through FIFPro, which the club’s are unable to influence.

Milan and Inter’s agreement with Konami means that they will play in mock-up versions of their kits on the EA game, and the team’s names, badge and home stadium will be adjusted to avoid any infringements.

The 2025 edition of EA FC is set to be released on September 27, 2024.
