Why Barcelona boss Flick had to end his post-Mallorca press conference early | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick was forced to bring a premature close to his press conference, on the back of the club’s meeting with RCD Mallorca.

This of course comes after the Blaugrana got their 2025/26 campaign up and running in positive fashion.

Barca marked their return to action on Saturday evening, making the trip to Son Moix for a La Liga clash with the aforementioned Mallorca.

When all was said and done, the vistors emerged on the right side of a 3-0 result, courtesy of goals on the part of all of Raphinha, Ferran Torres, and Lamine Yamal.

Post-match, as is customary, boss Hansi Flick then took his place in front of the media in a press conference, to talk through his side’s opening day three-point haul.

As alluded to above, though, the German was ultimately forced to bring an early end to the exchange.

This came upon Flick himself announcing to those in attendance:

“Apologies guys. I have to leave now, so as to not miss the return flight!”
