Organised by Uefa and Conmebol, the match will see last summer’s Euros winners meet the Copa América winners in a Grand Final.
The game will take place just days after the Champions League final and will be held at Wembley less than a year after Italy beat England there to win Euro 2020.
The reigning European champions and South American champions have met for the Artemio Franchi Trophy twice before, with France beating Uruguay in 1985 and Argentina defeating Denmark in 1993.
