Lazio striker Taty Castellanos stole the limelight as the Biancocelesti made short work of Hellas Verona in the first home fixture of the season.
The Argentinian delivered two assists as the Aquile went on to a flying start, taking a 2-0 lead after 10 minutes. On the first occasion, he brought down a long ball from Nicolo Rovella, before setting up Matteo Guendouzi. Afterwards, he played a give-and-go with Mattia Zaccagni, putting him through on goal with an astonishing rabona.
Later in the first half, Castellanos put his name on the scoresheet as he placed his header in the open net following an exquisite free-kick from Rovella. The visitors only threatened with a couple of chances from Antoine Bernede, but they weren’t able to find the back of the net.

In the second half, a trio of Lazio substitutes piled more misery on the Gialloblu. Reda Belahyane combined with Luca Pellegrini on the left flank before putting Boulaye Dia through with a back-pass from the byline. The Senegalese was the first to react, and his goal sealed a 4-0 victory for the Biancocelesti who have now registered their first three points of the season.
