Barcelona sensation Fermin Lopez continued his dream run at the Paris Olympic Games 2024 as he scored yet another goal for Spain today in their semi-final clash against Morocco.
Fermin, 21, has been instrumental in Spain’s progress at the Olympics. Coming into today’s game against Morocco, the midfield prodigy had already scored three goals at the tournament which included a sensational double in the quarter-final tie vs Japan.
Fermin has now gone ahead and added another strike to his tally, helping Spain equalise after they had gone down to Morocco early in the game.
The 21-year-old Barcelona midfielder’s goal came in the 65th minute as he pounced on a loose ball inside the Morocco box before rifling it into the back of the net with his left foot.
Fermin was shown a yellow card soon after for breaking the corner flag during his celebrations, but the midfielder will happily take it having brought his team back into the game.
Fermin’s strike now means that he has scored 16 goals for club and country across all competitions this season. A truly remarkable and memorable debut campaign for the La Masia graduate.
