Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr. this evening made use of the opportunity to call for a fellow member of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad to stay put for next season.

The player in question? Nacho.

Defender Nacho is of course in line to bring his career-long stint on the books in Spain’s capital to a close this summer.

As much comes with the 34-year-old having come to the decision not to renew his expiring contract.

As alluded to above, though, one individual who has evidently not yet given up hope of his captain reversing his decision to move on comes in the form of Vinícius Jr.

Real’s squad have taken to the streets of Madrid on Sunday, to celebrate the club’s latest La Liga title.

And, amidst the festivities, wide-man Vinícius took hold of the microphone, turning to Nacho, before leading the fans in attendance in a chant of:

“NACHO STAY! NACHO STAY! NACHO STAY!”
