The news about Roman Abramovich’s decision to sell Chelsea came late yesterday evening, so we’ve had to wait until today to get Gary Neville’s thoughts.
As well as being an interesting and eloquent talker, Neville owns a club himself and is considered a bit of an authority on subjects like this. Compared to some he’s pretty kind in his assessment of Roman as an owner.

He pointed out how well Chelsea had done in the Russian’s time, and how little mistrust there had been between the owner and the fans compared to at most top clubs.
