Matt Law has played down the chance of Chelsea moving for Real Madrid winger Rodrygo due to the Brazilian’s wage demands.
Chelsea have already been busy this summer, and have made three attacking signings in Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro.
The Blues haven’t ruled out signing another attacker, whilst they are also said to be in the market for a left sided defender to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad.
Chelsea are thought to want eight or nine attacking options in their squad next season, and with Noni Madueke gone, and Nicolas Jackson facing an uncertain future, there’s arguably room for one more.
A lot of supporters would love to see a marquee signing and Rodrygo certainly fits the bill, with it looking like the Brazil international could leave the Spanish giants this summer.
Rodrygo has attracted interest from the Premier League, and Chelsea as well as Arsenal and Liverpool have been mentioned as destinations.

Chelsea are arguably a bit short on the left wing, and Rodrygo would be a statement signing, but Law has revealed it’s unlikely to happen.
“He is on huge wages and wants even bigger wages to move,” he told The London Is Blue Podcast.
“If it goes wrong with Rodrygo, you’re stuck with an enormous problem.
“Chelsea already have a problem in Sterling this summer.

“It just doesn’t fit with what Chelsea have been doing well.”
Rodrygo scored 14 goals and registered 11 assists in 54 appearances in all competitions for Madrid last season, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up this summer.
Chelsea will perhaps think carefully about whether to bring another wide player in given they have Geovany Quenda arriving in 2026.
The Blues agreed a deal with Sporting Lisbon worth around £44m for the teenager earlier this year, and he will remain in Portugal for this coming season.
Injury permitting Quenda will arrive having made over 100 appearances for Sporting, as well as having Champions League experience, and the Blues will need to be careful not to acquire too many players.
