VfL Wolfsburg agree terms with FC Twente’s Václav Černý | OneFootball

VfL Wolfsburg have agreed personal terms with Václav Černý from FC Twente, according to Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung.

Wolfsburg have made their intentions clear and both the club and player are on the same page. It’s now all down to Wolfsburg and Twetne agreeing on the transfer fee. It’s believed the 25-year-old forward will cost between €6m-€7m.

The Czech international is currently fighting with Twente for a place in next season’s Europa Conference League. So far this season, Černý has netted a total of 15 goals.

Černý has ample experience in the Netherlands. Prior to his time at Twente, the striker has represented FC Utrecht and Ajax.

The Czech is now ready to make the next step in his career and join Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga. Finishing 8th, the wolves just missed out on European football this season after an impressive second half of the season. Černý will be hoping he can make the difference next campaign.
