Inter could let as many as four midfielders leave the club this summer, according to a report in the Italian media.

As per Gazzetta dello Sport‘s online edition, Matias Vecino, Ivan Perisic, Christian Eriksen and Ashley Young are all at risk of being moved on for differing reasons.

Vecino may need to be sold given he will have just a year left on his deal, while Perisic and Eriksen could leave due to their heavy salaries, with the pair earning €5 million and €7.5 million per year respectively.

As for Young, everything concerning his future is silent, but a departure is possible given that Inter might bring Federico Dimarco back from his loan spell at Hellas Verona.

The Milanese publication said Nicolo Barella – who should soon sign a new contract with the Nerazzurri until 2024 – is guaranteed to stay, as are Achraf Hakimi, Marcelo Brozovic, Roberto Gagliardini and Stefano Sensi.

Arturo Vidal, who earns a hefty €6.5 million annually with a contract until 2022, should discover his future once it becomes clear whether or not Conte, the man who brought him to Inter last summer, will stay for next season.

Gazzetta also said Alexis Sanchez could move on in the summer, having failed to convince this season due to his inability to stay fit and contribute consistently.

El Nino Maravilla also earns no less than €7 million a year and is contracted to the club until 2023, meaning Inter could perhaps offload him and treat themselves to a younger and less expensive foward.

Andrea Pinamonti will meanwhile likely be loaned out in order to play regularly, something he is not able to do in Milan at the moment.
