Both Leicester City and Chelsea earned a tidy windfall from yesterday's FA Cup final.

Youri Tielemans fired home a superb second-half strike to seal the win for the Foxes as Wembley welcomed 21,000 fans into the national stadium.

The total prize fund for the FA Cup is £15.9 million which is distributed among all 188 teams that entered the competition. The further a team goes in the competition, the more money they make.

The Mirror says Leicester pretty much doubled their total prize money by winning the final. Brendan Rodgers' men pocked a lump sum of £1.8million which brings their total earned in the competition to £3.4 million.

Meanwhile, as beaten finalists, Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea received £900k taking their total prize money to £2.4 million.
