Huddersfield Town face the daunting task of a trip to AFC Bournemouth this weekend in the Championship.

Scott Parker’s Cherries are unbeaten in the Championship so far this season and are storming on ahead at the top of the division. Huddersfield, meanwhile, sit sixth and have been building momentum nicely.

However, this trip comes on the end of an intense week for Carlos Corberan’s side, who were held to a 0-0 draw with Birmingham City on Wednesday night.

Given the short turn around and long trip down to the South Coast from Yorkshire, we are expecting to see a number of changes to the Huddersfield side:

Firstly, Levi Colwill is suspended, so the back-three ahead of Lee Nicholls will see one change as Naby Sarr returns alongside Tom Lees and Matty Pearson.

There’s no doubt Harry Toffolo can juggle an intense schedule, so he continues at wing-back, whilst Ollie Turton is drafted in on the opposition side, replacing Sorba Thomas and allowing the Wales international to catch his breath.

Lewis O’Brien and Jonathan Hogg feel too important to leave out in the engine room, though Corberan could ask Duane Holmes to drop into a midfield three with them to add some more legs.

In attack, we see a couple more changes.

Danel Sinani – like Thomas – looked leggy against Birmingham in the second-half and is probably due a rest. Of course, leaving that pair out limits Huddersfield’s main threat from set-pieces given their excellent delivery. However, bringing in Josh Koroma offers a different goal threat.

Joining him in attack could be Fraizer Campbell, who replaces Danny Ward. Campbell impressed from the bench versus Birmingham, hitting the post twice in 15 minutes.
