Kieffer Moore was reluctant to reveal whether he would be keen on a permanent move to Ipswich Town, when he spoke to TWTD.

The Tractor Boys are currently competing for promotion - and that has allowed them to be linked with some very gifted players in recent months.

Not only is their recruitment team likely to be preparing for life in the Championship next term, they are also likely to be preparing for the Premier League, with promotion still possible even if they don't secure a top-two finish.

Moore is one player who could be a good addition for both divisions - and he could potentially secure a permanent exit this summer after being deemed temporarily surplus to requirements by Andoni Iraolo during the previous January transfer window.

Having been such a crucial asset for his former club Cardiff City, he has often had to sit on the bench at his current team AFC Bournemouth, with Dominic Solanke continuing to thrive on the south coast.

If Solanke stays put beyond the end of the summer or a replacement comes in for him, Moore may benefit from a permanent move away from the Vitality Stadium.

But Moore was coy when asked about a potential permanent switch to Portman Road, saying: "I’ve still got a year left at Bournemouth, so we’ll see what happens in the summer."

Moore on Ipswich Town's promotion quest: "Just stick to what you’ve been doing all season"

It would be easy for Ipswich to try and be clever and change things to make themselves unpredictable.

But Moore has urged his team to stay the same, telling TWTD: "I get the lads talking to me all the time about what it was like winning promotion to the Premier League.

"The best advice I can give them is not to overcomplicate the situation.

"We’ve got to this point in the season, where we’ve done certain things, and to change anything now would be stupid. Just stick to what you’ve been doing all season – it has clearly worked – and just think of the bigger picture.

"Just solely focus on the task ahead."

Kieffer Moore should carefully weigh up his options this summer

Moore arguably needs to be starting regularly to give himself the best chance of thriving at both a club and international level.

He probably isn't going to win that game time with his parent club and this is why he needs to consider a permanent exit to another team this summer.

Portman Road could be an ideal destination for him, because he may back himself to start ahead of George Hirst and could potentially start ahead of Ali Al-Hamadi regularly if he performs well enough.

However, a big reason why Ipswich are thriving is because of their head coach Kieran McKenna, and it's unclear how much longer he will be at Portman Road for, so moving to Ipswich may not be a no-brainer.

Plenty of teams are likely to be interested in Moore this summer though - and the striker has a big decision to make on his future if he's allowed to leave.
