According to Football.London, claims about Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele joining Galatasaray on loan are unsubstantiated.
There were claims about the midfielder joining Turkish side Galatasaray on loan with the option to buy, but they have now been chalked off. However, the future of the Frenchman is still up for question.
Ndombele joined Spurs by becoming their record signing for a fee of around £55million from Olympique Lyonnais in 2019. But he never really got going at his new club.
Tottenham broke the bank to sign Tanguy Ndombele in 2019.
The Frenchman struggled for fitness and form and there were questions about his attitude. Many heads changed for the manager position at Tottenham since his arrival, but one thing remained constant- he was not preferred for too long by any coach- be it Jose Mourinho or Antonio Conte.
Having failed to impress and perform at the expected level, Ndombele was shipped out on loan to his former club Lyon in January. The French club had the option to buy him back for £54 million, which they decided not to exercise.
Ndombele made a total of 15 appearances for Lyon, scoring 1 and assisting 2 as he failed to help his team qualify for Europe next season, having finished eighth in the League.
A disappointing loan season marred with injuries and some muted performances is now over and Conte has a big decision to make.

It is very unlikely that he will be part of Conte’s squad come next season. He was deemed dispensable midway through last season and hasn’t shown anything to convince the Italian manager of including him in his starting XI on regular occasions.
A loan spell seems feasible for both club and player, but the question is where?
A talented midfielder, the 25-year-old still has a huge career ahead of him. It would be wise for both parties to find an amicable solution. It would be a shame for such a good talent to go wasted but those flashes of brilliance that he shows at times have never really evolved into anything more.
