According to a report by Foot Mercato, Trabzonspor have agreed personal terms with Olympique Lyonnais’s Gift Orban (22). However, there is still some work to do before negotiations between the two clubs can be finalised,
The Turkish side have reportedly offered Lyon a loan agreement with an option to buy Orban for €10 million. This option would become obligatory if certain conditions are met during the season. Lyon would prefer a mandatory clause that would net them €12 million.
Discussions will have to be settled quickly if Trabzonspor want to land the young forward as the Turkish transfer window closes tomorrow evening. Orban had been on the market during the transfer window, especially with Lyon bringing in Georges Mikautadze (23) from FC Metz this summer.
Orban had played a vital role in helping Lyon record their first victory of the season. The substitute scored twice from the bench in the 4-3 victory over RC Strasbourg Alsace ahead of the international break.
