Reports in Italy claim Thiago Motta will meet Bologna directors and President Joey Saputo today or tomorrow, but the ex-Italy international has already decided to join Juventus.

Motta is expected to meet Bologna directors shortly to discuss his future at the club given that his contract expires next month, but according to several sources, the ex-midfielder has already picked Juventus as his next club.

According to Gazzetta, Motta will sign a two-year deal with an option for a further campaign with the Serie A giants.

The pink paper claims Saputo will offer Motta a three-year plan with investments for over €100m and the chance to keep the best players at the Stadio Dall’Ara.

Motta, on the other hand, will request a central role in the project and the power to decide four or five reinforcements this summer, a scenario that would weaken the roles of directors Giovanni Sartori and Marco Di Vaio.

Corriere dello Sport adds that Saputo still hopes to convince Motta to stay even though he’s aware he does not have many chances to keep the 41-year-old at the Dall’Ara beyond the summer.

Corriere dello Sport confirms Motta is attracted by Juventus and could confirm his decision to leave Bologna at a press conference on Saturday morning when Saputo could join him.
