The Ajax youth goalkeeper didn’t start in his team’s Uefa Youth League match on Tuesday but went home a hero.

Perhaps inspired by Louis van Gaal’s approach to penalties at the 2014 World Cup, the Ajax U19 head coach John Heitinga (remember him?) changed goalkeepers for the shootout against Atlético Madrid.
And boy did it pay off. Reiziger saved THREE efforts before emphatically scoring the winner himself.
Talk about a penalty specialist.
