All to play for after Allianz thriller

Scorers: Sané 53′, Kane (PEN) 57′; Vinícius 24′, (PEN) 83′

Little separated Bayern Munich and Real Madrid after a thrilling four-goal affair at the Allianz Arena.

Vinícius Júnior broke the deadlock midway through the first half from a sublime pass from Toni Kroos before coolly slotting past Manuel Neuer.

The hosts rang the changes at the interval as Raphaël Guerreiro replaced Leon Goretzka at the interval in hopes of stemming Los Blancos’ dominance.

Within eight minutes, Thomas Tuchel’s side were level courtesy of a left-footed shot from Leroy Sané which beat Andriy Lunin at his near post.

The turnaround was completed when Jamal Musiala was bundled over in the penalty area by Lucas Vázquez, allowing Harry Kane to convert from the spot.

But roles were reversed as Vinícius also dispatched from 12 yards after Kim Min-jae’s foul on Rodrygo to leave things all square heading into the return leg at the Bernabéu

Wednesday’s other semi-final sees a rematch of the group stage as Paris Saint-Germain travel to Borussia Dortmund in their first-leg meeting.
