Sporting FC reached this year’s Final after defeating CS Herediano with an aggregate score of 4-0. In the first leg, Diana Vallejos gave her team the lead in the 17’ in scoring the only goal of the evening.

Sporting FC took the lessons from the first game and applied them to the second leg, with Candela Andujar scoring the first goal of the evening in the 51’, followed by Emily Flores in the 62’. Yerling Ortega scored the third and final goal in the 81’ to give Sporting the chance to compete once again in a League Final.

The current defending champions reached another Final after a great performance against Saprissa FF in a Clasico Semifinal. The first leg was a very hard-fought match, with Alajuelense winning 3-2 away. The ticket for the last game of the season was up for grabs, and LD Alajuelense took it.

With a final score of 7-2, Alajuelense advanced 10-4 on aggregate. This result was possible thanks to the services of Alexandra Pinell (18’, 31’, 76’), Sheika Scott (43’, 64’), Carolina Miranda (47’) and Katherine Arroyo (88’)

Saprissa FF got their scores from own goals from Pinell in the 40’ and Fabiola Villalobos in the 68’.

Just like last year, the best two teams in the league will share the pitch again to see who will get to lift the trophy, this time to become champions of the Clausura 2023.
