According to a report from L’Équipe, teams across Europe are lining up to sign Toulouse FC centre-back Logan Costa (23), who could become the club’s record sale this summer.

After scoring a brace in Toulouse’s Coupe de France triumph over FC Nantes last May, Logan Costa has gone on to establish himself as the first-choice centre-back at LeTéFéCé this season, making an impressive 36 appearances for the club. His development has not gone unnoticed.

L’Équipe report that Atletico Madrid are interested in the Cape Verde international with Diego Simeone a particular fan of his profile. Villarreal have also scouted the centre-back, whilst there is also considerable interest from the Premier League. Nottingham Forest and Fulham have both enquired about Logan Costa, whilst a third, un-named Premier League side, that played in Europe this season, are also set to join the race.

It is within this context of heightened competition that RC Lens have pulled out of the race. Logan Costa, whose contract with Toulouse runs until 2026, could become the Ligue 1 side’s record sale, surpassing the €25m they received for Issa Diop when he joined West Ham United for €25m back in 2018.
