Former Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri is a wanted man, with Paris Saint-Germain, and Inter all interested in hiring him, according to a report from Mundo Deportivo journalist Francesc Aguilar earlier today.

The report details how former Napoli and Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri was dismissed by Juventus earlier today, after the Bianconeri crashed out of the Champions League yesterday after being bested by French side Lyon over two legs.

Rudi Garcia’s squad progressed on away goals, with the final aggregate score being 2-2. The Turin based club are now looking for his replacement, with a potential reunion with Massimiliano Allegri on the cards.

Allegri has long been linked with the PSG job, should Thomas Tuchel fail to impress in the Champions League this season, the report continues, but may prefer to return to Turin to lead his former side.

Inter are paying close attention to the situation, in case current coach Antonio Conte decides to depart the club at the end of the season. A meeting between the former Italy coach and the Nerazzurri’s management will take place once the club’s Europa League campaign ends.

Aguilar detailed the situation on Twitter, saying: “Massimiliano Allegri was in pole position to replace Thomas Tuchel at PSG, but the Italian has frozen that idea as he is waiting to see if Juventus, who already had him, will really take him back. Inter are also in the fight because Antonio Conte continues to challenge the president.”
