As reported by Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, Sheraldo Becker (27) will now remain at Union Berlin despite interest from struggling Premier League side Everton.

Everton had been weighing up an offer to Union for Becker with Conor Gallagher expected to remain at Chelsea, forcing the Toffees to look elsewhere. However, per Plettenberg, it’s now decided that Becker will also remain at his current club, Union, who will see no departures on deadline day.

Becker signed a contract extension in June until 2024 and also had interest from West Ham and Nottingham Forest.

A move that is likely to be completed today is Union’s signing of Isco (30). The Spaniard is currently undergoing his medical with the Bundesliga club ahead of joining on a contract until 2024, with an option to extend by a further season. Unattached after agreeing to mutually part ways with Sevilla, Isco is available on a free transfer.
