Everton will entertain Brentford at Goodison Park this Saturday evening as they hope to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. The Toffees managed to earn an impressive 2-0 victory over Liverpool recently which should give them a ton of confidence ahead of this game.
Sean Dyche will set his men up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and could one change to his first XI for this game. Ashley Young will get a chance to play from the start of this contest in the injury absence of Vitaliy Mykolenko.
Defence
Jordan Pickford will operate in goal for the Merseyside outfit after securing a clean sheet in the Merseyside derby earlier this week. James Tarkowski will resume his partnership alongside Jarrad Branthwaite at the centre of Everton’s backline as they look to keep the opposition at bay throughout the 90 minutes.
Ben Godfrey will play as the right-back while Ashley Young hopes to give a good account of himself on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to get forward and join in on the attack at every chance they get.
Michael Keane will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield
Idrissa Gueye will anchor the midfield alongside James Garner as they focus on winning the 50-50 duels at the centre of the park. The talented trio of Dwight McNeil, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Jack Harrison will operate just ahead of them as part of Dyche’s attack. All three of them need to combine well if they want to engineer enough chances for the Toffees to win this contest at Goodison Park.
Amadou Onana will have to settle for a spot on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if required.
Attack
Dominic Calvert-Lewin will once again lead the charge for the Merseyside outfit on the offensive end of the field. He would be hungry to get his name on the scoresheet after scoring Everton’s second goal in the win over Liverpool recently.
Youssef Chermiti will be named on the bench as he waits for his opportunity to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if Everton are in need of a goal by then.
