Sevilla coach Julen Lopetegui says there'll be no fear facing Bayern Munich in the European Super Cup.

Lopetegui insists they'll respect the Champions League winners, but won't be intimidated as Europa League holders.

He said, "Disputing a European Super Cup does not happen every day and even less against a rival as great as Bayern, who won their domestic championship, their national cup and the European Cup brilliantly.

"It is a great team with a lot of individual talent. They have a coach who deserves a lot of credit for the way he has managed the squad and changed its fortunes by giving it a strong identity as well as a lot of importance on teamwork.

"It is about facing the best team in the world at the moment. We are not going to throw in the towel. We have a lot of respect and admiration for this team, but we are also very proud, ambitious and passionate. We intend to meet with the desire to give a good image of ourselves. It will not be easy, but that is what we obviously hope."
