SempreMilan Podcast increases functionality with Substack – useful features | OneFootball

It has become even easier, and more enjoyable, to watch and listen to the SempreMilan podcast. Now publishing the full video episode for free on Substack as well, there are some nice features you should know about.

The eagle-eyed of you will have noticed that we switched hosts to Substack for the main podcast a few months back, now posting both the main podcast (for free) plus the bonus podcast on the platform. In recent weeks, we have improved this integration further.

Instead of just adding the YouTube embed as the only video option, we are now also uploading the video directly to Substack. This means that you can both watch and listen to the podcast on the Subsack website or app.

It gets better. When using the Substack app, you can watch the video with pic-in-pic mode – i.e. in a small window while browsing other apps – and also lock the phone with the sound still playing. In short, these are features that you would normally find with YouTube Premium, which requires a monthly subscription.

If you have YouTube Premium already, great, but those of you who don’t can now also enjoy these nice features when watching/listening to the pod. Just download the Substack app and subscribe to our profile (it’s complete free!).
