Seattle Sounders ended their winless start of the season with a 3-1 victory over Minnesota United at the CenturyLink Field.
After losing their first two meetings at home without even scoring a goal, Sounders took a two-goal lead in a two minute lapse in the first half as Gustav Svensson and Will Bruin both netted their chances assisted by Cristian Roldan.
Svensson buried an impressive long-range rocket strike.
And Bruin scored with a one-touch strike in the box.
The Loons took one back in the second half through Christian Ramirezās header. Minnesotaās star signing, Darwin Quintero, assisted āSupermanā.
Late in the match, Francisco Calvo had a clear equalising opportunity after Stefan Freiās mistake, but his shot went wide.
And the Emerald City squad sealed the win with a cool finish from Jordy Delem on a one-on-one opportunity.
