Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali has stated that Inter signing Gianluca Scamacca in January isn’t possible as the Neroverdi want to keep the Italian.

Inter are said to be ready to go head to head with Fiorentina to sign Scamacca in January. With Dusan Vlahovic possibly leaving in January, La Viola eye Scamacca as a possible replacement for the Serbian star, while Inter need another striker to bolster their attack.

Carnevali spoke at an event called the Sport Festival recently and he was asked about the future of Scamacca. He revealed: “I was lucky enough to meet Marotta, who was my teacher”. Raspadori? It is true that there was an interest from Inter, but we want to keep him and Scamacca. There is no chance in January , for Inter or for other teams.”

It has been stated that Scamacca wants to leave Sassuolo to seek more regular game time and his price tag has also decreased.
