Eintracht are facing Sandhausen in a friendly on Friday at 13.30 CET, with one of the main aims being for certain players to get some game-time.

Eintracht coach Oliver Glasner is intending to use Friday afternoon’s friendly against second-division club SV Sandhausen to get some all-important minutes out on the pitch for the likes of Lucas Alario, Rafa Borré and Faride Alidou, who have had little game time of late.

Makoto Hasebe, Jérôme Onguéné, Almamy Toure, Aurélio Buta and Christopher Lenz are all returning from injury as well and will be hoping to get some match practice. “Team training sessions and friendlies give you things that you just can’t get when you train on your own,” said left-sided defender Lenz about the Sandhausen match. “For all of those who are coming back, these two weeks are ideal for them to get up to full speed after the break.”
