Eintracht Frankfurt exercise option to buy Hugo Ekitiké

The 21-year-old striker, who joined Frankfurt on loan from Paris Saint-Germain at the beginning of February, has signed a long-term deal with the Eagles.

The France U21 international joined Eintracht after scoring 13 Ligue 1 goals for Stade Reims and PSG, whom he helped win the league title in 2022/23 and the domestic Super Cup in January 2024. The 1.89-metre frontman has made 12 appearances for the Eagles so far and netted his first goal for the club against FC Augsburg last weekend. Ekitiké’s contract with Eintracht runs until 2029. Board member for sport Markus Krösche: “Hugo has shown the quality he possesses in his appearances so far. We’re fully convinced of his potential and are looking forward to seeing him in an Eintracht shirt beyond the current season.”
