AS Saint-Étienne’s slide into the bottom three has left them in desperate need of a victory ahead of hosting Angers SCO tonight. Only three points separate the club from safety while a point keeps them above Le Havre AC who occupy one of the two automatic relegation spots.
Eirik Horneland will look to make a few changes from the side that lost 5-1 away to Olympique de Marseille last weekend. Pierre Cornud’s injury means that Léo Pétrot will swap from the left-sided fullback to the right. Yvann Maçon will take Pétrot’s former duties.
In midfield, Florian Tardieu drops to the bench which will likely allow for Louis Mouton to return to the lineup. Irvin Cardona probably will also make his mark with Augustine Boakye expected to make way for last season’s promotion hero.
