FIFA 23 is just around the corner.
The newest edition of the franchise will be released on September 30.
Manchester United, despite their struggles in the 2021/22 season, will be one of the most used teams in the game.
With FIFA 23 just over a month away, we’ve attempted to predict every United player’s rating on the game.
View our predictions below… (number in brackets is their rating change from FIFA 22)
David de Gea – 83 (-1)Tom Heaton – 76 (+0)
De Gea has been on steady decline on FIFA for some time. Just four years ago in FIFA 19, his rating was 91. We think he’ll now be an 83-rated player.
Victor Lindelof – 80 (+0)Eric Bailly – 78 (-1)Phil Jones – 74 (+0)Harry Maguire – 81 (-3)Lisandro Martinez – 81 (+2)Tyrell Malacia – 79 (+2)Raphael Varane – 84 (-2)Diogo Dalot – 77 (+1)Luke Shaw – 82 (-2)Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 80 (-3)Brandon Williams – 75 (+0)Axel Tuanzebe – 73 (-1)
Big downgrades are coming to Shaw, Maguire, Wan-Bissaka and Varane. The quartet were no-where near their best in the 2021/22 season.
United’s new arrivals, Malacia and Martinez, should see a slight increase to their rating.
Bruno Fernandes – 87 (-1)Christian Eriksen – 83 (+1)Amad Diallo – 72 (+4)Fred – 80 (-1)Jadon Sancho – 85 (-2)Casemiro – 89 (+0)Anthony Elanga – 76 (+11)Donny van de Beek – 79 (-2)Scott McTominay – 79 (-1)James Garner – 74 (+5)Facundo Pellistri – 72 (+2)
Elanga may end up being one of the most improved players on FIFA 23. On FIFA 22, he was rated at just 65. After a breakout 2021/22 season, where he made 27 appearances, we think he’ll be given an upgrade of +11.
Fernandes should see a rating decrease, as should McTominay, Fred and Van de Beek.
Casemiro has a superb 2021/22 campaign with Real Madrid and will remain one of the best defensive midfielders on the game.
Cristiano Ronaldo – 90 (-1)Anthony Martial – 80 (-1)Marcus Rashford – 82 (-3)
Unfortunately, downgrades are set to come the way of Ronaldo, Martial and Rashford.
Ronaldo had a decent season, scoring 18 Premier League goals, but we think he will be downgraded to a 90-rated player.
Martial scored just once in the 2021/22 season, while Rashford was out-of-sorts throughout.
