Belgium and Inter striker Romelu Lukaku is set to miss the Red Devils’ first two games due to injury.
Lukaku had initially recovered from an injury some weeks ago and had featured for Inter after that, even scoring in the Champions League. But the striker picked up another injury that ruled him out of action for the Nerazzurri and put him in doubt for the World Cup.
Sky Italia have now reported that with Lukaku working and training individually, the player is set to miss Belgium’s games against Canada and Morocco due to the injury. He will try to recover for the third game of the group stages, which will take place against Croatia.
He is nursing a thigh injury on his left foot and it is a relapse of the first injury that he had picked up earlier in the campaign. In all competitions, he has one assist and two goals for Inter.
