Fans will be able to register for the purchase of the first tickets as early as September 2025.
FIFA has announced that ticket sales for the 2026 World Cup will kick off in September 2025. The global governing body will offer the first seats through its official platform, in anticipation of the tournament to be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
This announcement aligns with the preparatory schedule for the North American edition of the tournament, which is set to run from June 11 to July 19, 2026. With less than a year to go before kick-off, FIFA has now made the ticket sales timeline official.
"FIFA announces that the registration period for the first ticket purchase lottery for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ will begin on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. Interested parties are invited to visit FIFA.com/tickets to express their interest and create a FIFA ID account," the official statement reads.
This initial phase is dedicated to registrations. Specific details—including ticket categories, pricing, and the various sales phases—will be revealed progressively in the coming weeks. FIFA has confirmed that several options will be available, including single match tickets, team or stadium packages, as well as special offers for groups and families.
