Reports Milan interested in €30m-rated Tottenham defender | OneFootball

According to reports in Italy, Milan have become interested in Tottenham right-back Emerson Royal, but the North London club have reportedly slapped a €30m price tag on the 25-year-old Brazilian.

Milan’s priority in the transfer market remains finding a starting striker to replace Olivier Giroud, who will move to MLS to become an LAFC player this summer. However, the Rossoneri are also interested in bringing in reinforcements in central midfield and at the back.

According to TMW and Sunday’s print edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Emerson is a particularly enticing option for the right-hand side of Milan’s defence, although the club are not currently prepared to spend the suggested €30m.

In terms of midfield profiles, Paris Saint-Germain’s Manuel Ugarte is one that reportedly stands out to the recruitment team in San Siro.

He has a release clause worth €60m in his contract, but the Rossoneri are ready to pounce should he be made available for a loan move for 2024-25.
