Thibaut Courtois could be in line to make his Real Madrid debut at Girona on Sunday evening.

The Belgium goalkeeper, who moved to the Bernabéu from Chelsea this month, has again been named in Real’s 20-man squad.

As well, on Saturday, the 26-year-old told his Instagram followers: “Ready for the game tomorrow! #HalaMadrid”.

It is expected Courtois will be the number one for Los Blancos this season following his big-money arrival which will see Keylor Navas drop to the bench.

It is understood, however, new boss Julen Lopetegui will rotate his team this season, including those playing between the sticks.

Real kicked off the LaLiga season with a convincing 2-0 victory over Getafe last week.
