Rangers have had a bid rejected for Standard Liege midfielder Nicolas Raskin, according to Football Scotland.

However, the Light Blues remain keen on the 21-year-old Belgian and talks are ongoing between both clubs.

Raskin has fallen out with Standard manager Ronny Deila and is currently training with the youth team.

Rangers sense an opportunity but have been told their first offer is not enough to get a deal done.
