Thimothé Nkada has officially joined Standard Liège. The French striker, of Cameroonian descent, signed this Thursday, August 7, 2025, with the Belgian club on a three-year deal after his excellent spell at Rodez in Ligue 2.

Thimothé Nkada continues his rise on the European stage. Following an outstanding season with Rodez, where he established himself as one of the most efficient strikers in Ligue 2, the Franco-Cameroonian has now set his sights on Belgium. This afternoon, Standard Liège confirmed the signing of the player for the 2027 season.

"Everything has been settled between Standard Liège, Rodez Aveyron Football, and Timothé Nkada: the French striker has just signed with our club for the next 3 seasons," announced the top-flight Belgian club in its official statement.

During the past season with Rodez, Thimothé Nkada played 32 matches in all competitions. He scored 17 goals and provided 5 assists, finishing as the second top scorer in Ligue 2. These impressive stats naturally attracted the attention of several European clubs before Standard finally secured his signature.

"After a great season with Rodez, the project at Standard Liège was the best option for me. I can't wait to take on this new challenge and help the club achieve its goals," Nkada said upon signing.
