Glasgow giants Rangers are in talks to sign Hoffenheim defender Stanley Nsoki on loan ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline.

Rangers boss Philippe Clement is desperate to add more meat to his squad before the transfer window closes on Friday night.

The Belgian still wants more options at the heart of his side’s defence and Nsoki has emerged as a target for the Glasgow giants.

Clement is aware of the Frenchman’s ability since he coached him at Club Brugge and wants to take him to Ibrox in the next two days.

According to French sports daily L’Equipe, Rangers are trying to sign the defender on loan from Hoffenheim in the next 48 hours.

Negotiations are ongoing between the two clubs to arrange a loan move to Rangers for the 25-year-old defender.

He is not a major part of Hoffenheim’s plans this term and the club are open to loaning him out before Friday’s deadline.
