The Barcelona board remains a united front in light of the club’s difficulties in recent seasons. Through figuring out loopholes and finding good market opportunities, they have helped steer the club back on the right track. Fortunately, Barcelona can rely on them to make decisions for the betterment of the club.
However, there are emerging hurdles popping up that could distort the unity of that team as well. Currently, led by Barcelona president Joan Laporta, the club’s higher-ups have been working together to help improve Barça’s financial situation while simultaneously giving Hansi Flick a squad to compete with.
Unfortunately, it now seems as if a key member of Laporta’s team could be on his way out of the club if he chooses to accept a major offer that has now come his way. The man in question is Rafa Yuste, who just so happens to be the current Barcelona vice president.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Yuste is expected to return to Barcelona from Japan tomorrow. While the team continues the preseason tour with two matches in South Korea coming up following their recent game against Vissel Kobe, the vice president is set to return home.
As per the information provided by MD, there are two possible reasons for this. Primarily, it could be to return and help out Deco with the pending exit cases that need to be sorted out as quickly as possible to enable registrations and other operations.
The other reason, and perhaps the more notable one, is that it could be a prelude to his potential decision to have a change of scenery and join the Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr. Reportedly, they have sent a very lucrative offer his way and one that simply cannot be ignored by Rafa Yuste.
Moreover, if he does decide to accept the offer and head over to the Middle East, Joan Laporta would not stand in his way. However, the final decision now lies with Yuste himself, as he can either remain committed to Barcelona or take on a lucrative offer that is reportedly quite a strong proposal.
After all, the Saudi Arabian side wants him to become a leading figure in their project moving forward. However, in case he ends up leaving, Joan Soler is expected to replace him in the vice president position that would be left vacant.
