Barcelona fans are in for a special treat as the club is all set to unveil its new away kit for the 2025/26 season.
According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, the Catalan giants will officially present the much-anticipated kit on Tuesday, July 29.
The away kit stands out for more than just its design, as it is a heartfelt tribute to one of basketball’s greatest icons, Kobe Bryant.
The new design is part of a larger tribute known as the Mamba Collection, honouring the NBA legend who played his entire professional career with the Los Angeles Lakers.
What sets this kit apart is its bold golden colour, inspired directly by the Lakers’ famous jersey.
It is accented with striking black and purple details, giving it a unique and powerful visual identity that mirrors Bryant’s presence on the court.
In a major design twist, Nike has replaced its classic swoosh logo with the Black Mamba emblem, also known as the Sheath logo.
This snakeskin-patterned symbol will be prominently displayed in black, representing Bryant’s fierce mentality and iconic nickname.
The away kit will be part of a wider apparel range within the Mamba Collection. Alongside the match shirt, fans can also purchase specially designed training and lifestyle gear.
This includes sweatshirts, jackets, and sweatpants that carry the same colour themes and symbolic detailing seen in the main kit.
For sneaker lovers, two standout items in the collection will be the Kobe 4 Protro and Nike Air Force 1, both released as limited-edition pieces to mark this special launch.
The pricing reflects the premium nature of the collection. The ‘Player Version’ of the jersey will be available for €149.99, while the ‘Fan Version’ will be priced at €99.99.
Starting Tuesday, July 29, the full collection will be available at all Barça Stores, on the club’s official online store, and across Nike retail outlets globally.
