According to Foot Mercato, Lille are in positive discussions with Paris Saint-Germain over the transfer of Portuguese international Renato Sanches (24). In recent days, since the French champions hijacked the player’s virtually sealed move to AC Milan, a number of figures have been cited by the French press.
Foot Mercato report, however that Lille received an offer from the Italian champions of €15m with an additional €3m in bonuses, however the 2020/21 Ligue winners were looking to negotiate the sale to a price of €20m.
Equally, PSG are offering the player much more significant wages, reported to be at €6m per year, whereas the Rossoneri were only offering €4.5m. A contractual agreement exists between PSG and Sanches, with the capital side very optimistic of his signature.
The Euro 2016 winner has had an underwhelming season marred by injury, with 2 goals and 5 assists in 25 matches. The former Bayern Munich man has been with the club since 2019, in a three-season spell which has seen him regain the form he lost after his initial breakout as a teenager.
