Ahead of the 2025/26 Premier League season, we spoke to fans of all 20 clubs to get their views on the upcoming campaign.
Here, we spoke to @safc.till.i.die about newly promoted Sunderland.
Lessons to be learnt from last year is that we can not afford to lack any complacency within the Premier League, you are more severely punished without a doubt.
I think Regis Le Bris has been a great success in his first season with the club. He managed to secure promotion to the Premier League through the play-off final and subsequently has signed a new three-year extension with the club. Things you love to see.
Our summer transfer window has been a resounding success. We needed to spend and have done exactly that. Our side needed a lot of work so new additions like Reinildo, Simon Adingra and Granit Xhaka will be crucial for the upcoming season.
Definitely Xhaka, we have not had a player of his quality in Sunderland colours for a long time.
Hard one this. Our most underrated might be Dan Neil, he goes many games under-appreciated. However, with our new additions he might find himself slightly out of favour for the upcoming campaign.
Most looking forward to having Derby days back….
Quite a few players to be admired within the Premier League. I personally can’t wait to see Erling Haaland at the Stadium of Light.
I think Sunderland will survive, we have a great squad cohesion after promotion and have so far made great additions to our side. Perhaps, 15th.
