Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou has admitted it is highly unlikely that Ivan Perišić will play for the club again.

The Croatian wide man suffered an ACL injury in September, which is set to rule him out for the rest of the season, and with his contract up in June, it appears his time in North London has to come to an end.

When asked about the chances of the 34-year-old being seen again this season ahead of his side’s FA Cup clash with Burnley tonight, Postecoglou said:  “No, he’s working hard to be fair to Ivan… But yeah, he won’t – he’s unlikely to play for us again.”

The vastly experienced Perišić joined Spurs in the summer of 2022 and has since made 50 appearances for the club, scoring once in that time.
