The Blues are getting a number of deals done this summer and they are looking to make outgoing deals as well as incoming as this transfer deal draws to an end.

EXCLUSIVE! Antonio Conte wants ANOTHER Chelsea player as well as Romelu Lukaku – could be key for Victor Osimhen to Chelsea! 👀

They need to sell players, that bit has always been obvious now for many reasons, and one player who is now on his way out of the door is midfielder Conor Gallagher.

The England international has yet to return to the club following his inclusion in the England Euros squad this summer, and it doesn’t look like he will be returning at all now.

Gallagher off to Atletico

As per multiple reports over night now, Gallagher is set to join Atletico Madrid in La Liga for a fee of around £33m.

And as you can see from the tweet above from Nizaar Kinsella of The BBC, Gallagher will fly to Spain tomorrow to complete the move after appearing to have said yes to the Spanish side.

Chelsea had agreed a fee with Atletico some days back now, and then we were just all waiting on the player agreeing to the move too. It looks like that has now come and the deal can be completed.

It’s a good move for all parties really. Chelsea needed to sell and were always going to sell Gallagher this summer. It’s a good move for him to a decent club in the Champions League also!
